Vitality

Second chakra, Sacral Chakra, Svadhishtahana, is located 5cm (2inch) below our navel. Colour orange is recognized as the color for that chakra, and this energy center is about our Vitality. Vitality in a sense of feeling our inner emotions, and transmitting this into the overall being of ourselves. This is a very powerful energy center that deals with our innermost emotional intelligence. It shows us who we really are in our feelings to ourselves, and connection with others. This is where our inner child is, this is where our authenticity lies. Being connected to this energy center and looking for balance, means being connected to our emotions. Each of us have a different feel, taste and smell to things that matter to us. This determines our authenticity. The more we are within our true feelings, the more we can transmit this truthfulness to the upper energy centers, and function in the most possible way to ourselves.

So how does it happen that this energy center of our body doesn’t work the way it can?

  • Emotional abuse
  • Confusion of partner roles
  • Rigid religious and moral principles
  • Influence of parental systems on the child system
  • Rape
  • Transferred experiences from a past life

We should ask ourselves a few questions if we want to find balance in this powerful energy center:

  • Do I enjoy the physical aspect of life?
  • Do I feel that I deserve it?
  • Am I able to receive abundance in my life?
  • Do I feel there is a flow of creativity in my life with things that I engage with?
  • How do I perceive sexuality?
  • Am I able to obtain a deep and loving relationship with another person?
  • Do I know who my inner child is? Is it angry? Resentful?
  • Am I scared or do I surrender?

These are intimate and important questions to ask ourselves. Healing our inner child, and building our emotional intelligence is the journey to our true authenticity. It holds the power that can be transmitted to the beautiful creations, which will reflect into our physical body. If we feel guilty, if we can’t sense the feeling of pleasure in life and enjoy life, if we don’t feel sensual, if we can’t reach orgasm, and if we can’t look after ourselves we also can’t look after others. These are all things to consider and sense within ourselves if we want to heal.

If this energy center is unbalanced, it reflects on our physical body in our reproductive area, urinary tract, ovaries and cysts, candida, fungi, frigidity, asthma, allergies, depression, pain in lumbar area due to the suppressed depression, menstrual pain.

If this energy center is overcrowded, we try to gain things by force (at some point I was called Mrs Forceful..lol), one would have emotional outburst, tendency to be invasive to others, emotional luck of independence and unsustainability, attachment to others, sexual addiction, hedonism, exaggerated sexuality, claiming from others; basically all excessive = congested.

If this chakra is closed then one feels compression in emotions, which results in lack of orgasm, and/or no desire, there are no emotional boundaries, pleasure is extinguished: there is frustration and aggression, and sexuality and vitality is suffocated.

I started the journey of healing in this energy center by journaling, and essential oils helped me greatly to fine tune with the emotions (wild orange, clary sage and bergamot), and gently change the frequency of this energy center. Gently is the key.. Focusing on being grateful for what is in front of me (there is always something that we can be grateful for!). Writing it down, and in that way feeling it deeper within me. Asking myself questions that I posted above (and many more). Taking one meditation at the time and journaling. It is still work in progress. But it is worthed. Everytime that I feel having less life energy force, and that I am not looking after myself (you know that feeling when you look at yourself in the mirror thinking oh fck..) I then tap into this work. It doesn’t have to be extensive work, consistency is the magic key. Half an hour a day is planty: 10min of movement with the focus on the hips and lower abdominal, 10min meditation and 10min journaling. That is all for this magic to start to unfold. My life then feels more balanced, with more positive expressions, I feel stronger, I feel and enjoy more in all aspects in my life, I feel more sensual and my private life is full of magic. Sense of guilt that I’d carry would be less intense, and I’d feel worthy of things that come my way. All this magic is then transmitted to others, in a sense of being able to share and receive, and it is felt as being authentic as it comes from my personal emotional connection and intelligence.

It is amazing  what we can get from our bodies and minds. And it doesn’t take long to feel the change, and every change is another step to your true happiness. I feel that consistency and the right approach is the key. But any work is a start, and should be appraised and appreciated.

I hope this finds you well.

Please, let me know your thoughts.

Inner POWER

It feels magnificent when I feel I am in my power. When I am in my authentic self. When I have the strength to feel what feels right, and pursue my desires. When I come across conflict, I still can be balanced within my emotional state, without having a feeling of heaviness and lack of love for life.

Our 3rd energy center is located in the stomach area. This is where our power lies. This energy center is related to the feeling of yourself. To the feeling of your willingness to go about with the balance of ego. If you are capable of engaging with challenges, and not being left with exhaustion, or a need to show that you’re right. Being alive and spontaneous, responsible and reliable, but with the feeling that this is right for You, not for someone else’s ideas. Warm personality, but firmness in your decision.

How to make this chakra energy center to start working, in its full potential to your unique values? This is when you say NO! No to things that don’t serve you right. You know that feeling when you agree to something, and you are left with bitterness in your mouth? Yep. That’s when you compensate yourself. Noone and nothing is more important than You! It is a difficult game at the start, you may find yourself alone, and doubting your decisions. But this is the start of the journey to explore your unique power. If you believe that you are strong, and bring that strength to the right channel, your actions are spontaneous and fruitful. It feels as a gift from above: giving yourself truly is felt deep within many layers of yours or receivers being. Priceless. Fulfilling. Rewarding. Magical and unique. Talking to a therapist or good friend who will now judge can also activate and change this energy. Shame is the killer to this power center, so try and open your mind to others, and explore the meaning, allow them to grow. It will come back to you in a nourishing way. The goal here is to define ourselves, and we can do this only by learning about what feels good for us, not for others.

Some things can help us greatly in terms of development: negotiation, visibility, freedom of expression of our will, development of self-discipline, urge to feel oneself, putting oneself in the center of the world, realization of oneself: otherwise we get increasingly attached to our partner and/or our children

If this energy center, chakra, is overloaded and it needs to release the excess energy. Some of the ways to express through the 5th chakra, throat: shout it out, get it out of your system. Sing, talk, chant, scream if you need to. And of course, movement: dance helps me greatly. And it doesn’t matter how you dance, close your eyes and just let your body take you to the journey of movement. Whatever comes is what your body needs.

If this energy center, chakra, is empty and it needs to be filled up, push the energy upwards. If you feel overly tired and lacking the desire to move and live, or if you have a constant pain in your muscles. Energetic healing is a great help but also a good friend that can listen, hear and ‘see’ You so that you can feel it. Being accepted for who you are and being able to express yourself in your full authenticity in that particular moment, you’re then entering the space of healing.

Affirmation: I am strong and powerful, I accept myself, I make my own choices. Put the posts on the wall so you can remind yourself who you are. Because you are powerful and you are strong. It’s in you, you just have to activate it!

Very rarely one has fully functional 3rd chakra, plus this also changes constantly. If we are carrying the condition of shaming and embarrassment, because our parents couldn’t allow us to just be seen, then this ‘broken’ system can be activated by some interaction and relationship. Fully functional 3rd chakra is: good feel of ourselves and our power, balance between willingness and ego, capabilities to handle challenge, balance between self discipline and organisation, warm and comfortable personality, spontaneity and liveliness, dependability and reliability

Overloaded 3rd chakra:

urge to be right, violent outbursts, aggression, stubbornness and unprovenness, arrogance, competitiveness and hyperactivity. Because our authentic self was not accepted, one imposes their own will with aggressiveness to the point of bullying. It results in being exhausted, because it takes the energy from the emotional connections from the 2nd chakra, and connection from the 4th chakra.

Closed 3rd chakra

Susceptibility to follow up others, lack of self discipline and self motivation, unreliable, shy, depression, chronic tiredness and lack of energy, worthlessness and lack of self, emotionally cold and passive, the feeling that he is a victim and that others are to blame, collapse in conflict, no contact with anger and aggressiveness, respects rules and lets others to rule.

Health problems: disorders of the digestive system, pancreas, liver, eating disorders, ulcer, stomach, diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, nervousness, muscle problems.

An affair of 3rd chakra is

Impulse for individuality and personal will (power)

Conscious will and activity

I personally found that yoga, meditation, journaling, essential oils and healing crystals greatly shifts my consciousness and impulses. And it doesn’t take much, 10min a day for the start and within a week you’d feel the shift. Consistency and right approach is the key to this magical journey. Once you tap into this magic you are able to shift your emotional state very quickly. It is amusing what we can do with placidity of the mind and flexible emotions.

I hope this finds you well.

Let me know what you think.

Grounding.

For a long time I had an idea of being perfectly grounded. Even though I was falling (losing my ground frequently), being scared of life (even though I traveled the world and changed careers), socializing, teaching yoga, holding presentations in big corporations (but sweating as a pig for unknown reasons = insecurity), and so on. When I was introduced to yoga and its philosophy, I got closer to the idea why things are not working for me. Even though I was walking barefoot  as much as I could I somehow did not get that sense of feeling grounded afterwards, my head and my senses were in different spaces above.

I always wanted to get to the meaning of grounding. Feeling it. Not until recently that I started to feel it deeply in my core what it feels like. Feeling is the key. Understanding is just a small fraction of the complete dimension. Feeling that I am safe and that everything will be ok. Believing that I am safe and capable of changing my circumstances. Understanding that heaviness and laziness is my energy point being congested. Feeling: I am Safe, I am Secure, I Trust, I Believe. Those are big words, it’s a journey to the feel of those words, and the physical journey of self discovery and healing. At least mine was, and still is.

Have you ever seen the tree with big, massive roots coming out of the ground, because of the vastness and thickness? This is the vision of yourself that you want to embody: Roots coming down to the earth, spreading deep into the ground. Enabling you to be firm, stable and safe in your ground, and branches spreading upwards high and wide, open to receive, protect and connect.

Neurobiology also recognizes now the energy centers in our body. Grounding as Muladhara-first chakra: it develops early at the stage of being conceived at birth, and socialization shapes it further. Important factors are socialization, family, sense for existence, security, and physical identity, just to mention some.

If this energy center, which is located at the bottom of the spine, is complete (which is very rare), then one would feel: sense of security, confidence in the world, in yourself, presence, grounded, stable, vital.

  • Injuries that cause this imbalance: negative experiences, feelings of fear, physical abuse, wars, illnesses, traffic accidents, death. If you believe in past life, which at this point has been talked about and recognised by loads of people, problems related to past life and inheritance of trauma from ancestors (etheric body) is another reason for feeling ungrounded.
  • Person with congested hyperactive chakra would experience: stagnant heavy energy, immobility, wants to sit most of the time, bored, lack of vitality, insecure, fixed on material things, urge to accumulate, overeats, lethargy, laziness, rigid boundaries, order of the routine gives security. If this energy center is overcrowded and draws too much energy from above and below: the chakra is compressed, scattered scattered.
  • If chakra is closed: one is most likely gracefully thin, unconnected to the body, insecure, scattered, experiences a feeling of not belonging, has problems with calcium in the body, carry huge fear, constantly has financial problems: ‘I have to create a lot of money’’; the idea to remain poor = death: total fear and system breakdown. One sees security in money. Restlessness while sitting, no clear view, spinning constantly, trying to make himself invisible. It lacks self-discipline and body care
  • On the health aspect, it reflects on cortisol and the adrenal gland: the hormone of fear, thinness, susceptibility to disease, insomnia, high blood pressure, sympathetic activation. Fear starts to be a source of security: if one is afraid it feels secured; yes, pretty contradictory and double knife edge.

So what can we do? Discharge: shake, dance, yoga, meditation: with the right approach! Walk bare feet but mindfully i.e. feel your toes, every single one of them, explore the feeling of the senses i.e. if it’s a grass: is it wet, is it soft, is it firm = be mindful of your feet wherever and whatever you do. Food: root vegetables, juiced, raw, cooked. Visualisation: as mentioned above, or chakra meditation: basically bringing the awareness to the bottom of the spine: there Is an energy center (at this point they tested it and measured it, there Is science behind it!), and if you really focus on it it is almost impossible not to feel it. Essential oils, good quality one: it changes the frequency of your energy levels (there is measurable science behind it!), and with the right oil and right application we can balance/heighten that energy center.

I hope you enjoyed this read!

Let me know how you feel!
